Ultimate adds Chapters 6, 7 and the Final Chapter to the series as well as some Side Stories in existing chapters. Side Stories listed below will follow the Ultimate order and will be marked with a (SS). In Warriors Orochi 4: Ultimate, Side Stories are now listed at the bottom of their original chapter. In Warriors Orochi 4, Side Stories are listed together under a separate heading. The story starts with the three Tokugawa characters: Tadakatsu Honda, Naotora Ii and Naomasa Ii. However, as this game has no continuity with the other titles in the Warriors Orochi series, character interactions and allegiances are vastly different this time around.
